LANE OF FAME

Erica Terpstra plants the first tree in the 'Lane of Fame'.

In 2003 Erica Terpstra (the popular Dutch ex member of Parliament, now chairperson of the NOC*NSF) planted the first tree in the ‘Lane of Fame’ between Flamingo Airport and the center of Kralendijk. The idea was to invite celebrities visiting Bonaire to plant a small tree carrying his/her name. With this unique project Foundation Hand in Hand for Bonaire wanted to attract positive attention for Bonaire having the first ‘Lane of Fame’ in the world. CBC is very charmed of this initiative and intends to pursue this project. Suggestions are warmly welcome.
