ABOUT GLOBAL WATER VOLUNTEERS

Global Water Volunteers (GWV) has been founded in 2009 by a small group of concerned world citizens who believe that all people should have access to clean water.

Global Water Volunteers is a global movement of individuals, professionals, organizations and institutions, and has virtual offices in several countries.

Healthcare and reliable water and sanitation are serious problems for poor people in most Third World countries. GWV would like to be a key partner for local authorities and other stakeholders involved in decentralisation processes. This makes GWV an interesting partner in the field of Water and Sanitation and Health. GWV helps local actors to improve the organisation, construction and maintenance of basic services. Our engagement focus on local realities, national policies with the specific attention for “Clean Water for All", also emphasizing the importance of the engagement of representatives from local governments, associations/NGOs, and technical services of the state.

For the time being untill registration has been settled, the organization will temporary be established at Bonaire/Netherlands Antilles.

Till the first member-meeting, management and chair will be excecuted by Africa-Afrika.org.
